Using advanced brewing techniques to elevate both malt character and crispness, we’ve produced a Japanese-style ‘dry’ lager that presents very bright, and with a pleasant hop profile everyone can enjoy. The lightly grainy and unique malty character comes from a blend of pale malts, rice and corn in addition to brewing technique. We use noble hop varietals throughout, including Hallertau Mittelfruh and Czech Saaz. This premium lager drinks very light and pairs well with any meal. Kanpai! (GRAIN-TO-GLASS: 5-6 WEEKS)

WELCOME BACK – WE’RE REOPENING TOMORROW! Bohemian would like to extend a warm welcome back to all of our friends & family. We are opening our doors and returning to regular dine-in service beginning Monday, June 8 at 11am. We have greatly missed everyone these past few months, and look forward to serving you.

WHAT WE’RE DOING TO ENSURE EVERYONE’S SAFETY WHILE DINING WITH US. We take everyone’s health & well-being seriously, and have enhanced our industry-leading cleanliness standards to ensure a safe dining experience for our guests. Employees are screened with a multi-point health & temperature check before the start of each shift, and all vendors & visitors are being screened as well. Enhanced cleaning throughout our dining room, kitchen and common areas is done every 30 minutes. Hand sanitizer is provided for guests. In accordance with Salt Lake County Health Department guidelines, social distancing will be observed. We welcome you all back while doing our best to maintain the safety of everyone who visits Bohemian.

Lagerpalooza "Best of Show" Special Beer Release for 2020 American Craft Beer Week

Attention all Bohemian fans! We have a LIMITED BEER RELEASE AVAILABLE NOW!

Bohemian is proud to announce the special seasonal release of the 2019 Lagerpalooza “Best of Show” Doppelbock to bring 2020 American Craft Beer Week to a close. Regretfully we had to cancel this year’s Lagerpalooza event at Bohemian – however, the outstanding crew from Bewilder Brewing, Salt City/Ogden City Brew Supply and the entire Lagerpalooza brewing team got together and awarded a new winning brew for 2020. Stay tuned for more details as we target a release date.

Mad props to Chris Robinson for his award-winning recipe for this decadent Doppelbock brew! A malt lover’s dream, this sturdy beer clocks in at 9.3% and boasts a balanced 20 IBU hop profile.

Celebrate 4th of July with Bohemian at The Gateway!

Join Bohemian Brewery on July 4th to celebrate America’s independence and independent craft brew at The Gateway from 4-10 p.m. out on The Plaza. Admission is free, and all ages are welcome!

As the exclusive brewery partner, Bohemian Brewery will be pouring our finest brews for all patrons over 21. Selections include our flagship Czech Pilsener, G.P.A. (German Pale Ale), Sir-Veza Mexican Lager, Kölsch, Beer X and event exclusive American Wheat to honor the holiday.

Entertainment includes two stages with bands and DJs and a Karaoke stage. There are tons of games, face painting, the “American Dream” Wall Art and giveaway contests throughout the day on the main stage.

And no 4th of July party would be complete with Fireworks! Downtown SLC’s premiere fireworks presentation starts at dusk… so don’t miss out. Great eats are available all afternoon and evening from the best local food trucks, and classic American cocktails from our good friends at Five Wives will be flowing plentifully.

With 2019 Pride week here in Salt Lake underway, we’re proud to announce our latest partnership to support LGBTQ voices in our community and beyond.

BEER X, which has been a special collaboration between Bohemian Brewery & Beer Bar for the past five years, has now found a new purpose to benefit Utah Film Center’s Damn These Heels LGBTQ Film Festival.

As patrons of Beer Bar know well, Beer X is a clean, crisp & refreshing Helles Lager Beer from Bohemian Brewery with substance... and now a worthy cause. We made a special run of cans designed to salute not only the Film Festival, but also independent voices from the LGBTQ community that need to be heard.

Bohemian at SLUG's 2019 Brewstillery = a big win for Sir-Veza!

As we gear up for another exciting summer full of Beer Festivals and events, we were happy to spend the afternoon at SLUG Mag’s 2019 Brewstillery event on Saturday, May 18. Many old friends and even some new ones popped by to say hello as we poured a small selection of some of our favorite new lagers throughout the afternoon.

Cans of Helles Bock, Kölsch and our new Mexican-Style Lager — Sir-Veza — were on the menu for Festival patrons to enjoy. As we entertained visitors throughout the afternoon, with local bands playing in the background and our crowd-favorite hat machine pumping out the Sir-Veza trucker hats, it became apparent that one beer was standing out from the rest. Our Mexican Lager was a hit with its light and approachable corn finish, and when paired with a slice of lime, reminded everyone of their favorite “Cerveza'“ and how wonderful this style of beer can be when done right.

We were suddenly surprised and delighted to see SLC Mayor Jackie Biskupski approaching, and we knew something might be up when she extended her empty mug and said “One Sir-Veza please!” As she and Brewstillery director Angela Brown chatted with us they winked and said “make sure you’re at the main stage for an announcement shortly”.

Before we knew it, Sir-Veza had won not only the “Best New Beer”, but also the “People’s Choice: Best New Beer”, to complete a clean sweep of the 2019 Brewstillery awards. A completely unexpected yet fully appreciated and humbling experience indeed.

After being presented with two beautifully decorated and constructed works by local artist Kali Mellus, we were grateful for not only the opportunity to be a part of the event, but to have been able to share a conversation with each and every one of our visitors who were kind enough to sample some of our Bohemian Lager Beers.
